A fine UNMOUNTED MINT 6½p Greenish Blue, in a left-hand (positional) marginal block of four, with a dramatic leftward shift of the usual centre phosphor band, to produce the scarce 4mm NARROW BAND LEFT (NBL) error / variety. Printed by Harrisons in gravure, this stamp is a counter sheet printing, and the NBL stamps' band does not sit over the left edge/perforations, but is slightly inset. Only from counter sheet cylinder 4 and listed in the Connoisseur Catalogue. Very unusual in a marginal block of four! [Note: the upper right stamp has the listed background re-touch and broken cross, from cylinder 4 dot, Row 3, stamp 2. A quite possibly unique block combining NBL and the listed variety.] (JMD RS3st)
