Regional Stamps or Country Definitives as they are also known where issued for the regions ok the UK and reflecting each Country or Island of the British Isles. In 1958 regional issues were introduced, with the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales all receiving their own special regional issues. The portriat from the Wildings Stamps was used in the design, with each being specially designed to incorporate the symbols of each of the home nations and Crown dependencies.
