Decimal Machin MISSING PHOSPHORS

This section is offered by BB STAMPS LTD in association with John M. Deering (Modern GB and Specialised Machin dealer).

The catalogue numbers quoted are mostly from the Stanley Gibbons Great Britain Concise Stamp catalogue (X, Y and U). Sometimes, and particularly for more specialised stamps, the Stanley Gibbons Great Britain Specialised Volume 4 Catalogue numbers (prefixed Spec) or The Connoisseur Catalogue of Machin Stamps numbers (prefixed CC) are also quoted within the item description.

Missing phosphor stamps must not have spots of phosphor or partial bands, and must only be assessed using the correct sort of lamp. All the missing phosphor stamps offered in this section and in the separate section based around the Connoisseur Catalogue of Machin Stamps have been thoroughly checked under an ultra-violet lamp in dark room conditions to ensure they meet the rigorous standards for missing phosphor classification.
